In Annapolis

Brooke was elected in 2014 to represent District 46 in the Maryland House of Delegates, one of the bodies of the Maryland General Assembly. The General Assembly is Maryland’s legislative body and directly represents the electorate.
From 2015 – 2019, Brooke was a member of the Appropriations Committee. She is now a Subcommittee Chair on the Environment & Transportation Committee. She has championed numerous bills during her first term and has successfully sponsored and passed key initiatives in the areas of education, public transit, public safety and gun violence prevention, family leave, supporting entrepreneurship & small businesses, food access for seniors, expanding access to AmeriCorps, and more.
